Sanitary Ball Valves
Technical Parameter
Min. Pressure: Vacuum
Max. Pressure: 1.0Mpa (10bar)
Temperature Range: -5°C to 95°C
Materials: The parts that come in contact with the liquid are constructed of AISI 304L or AISI 316L, while other parts are constructed of AISI 304.
Working Principle: Manual operation or actuating device operation
Manual Actuator: 90° adjustment handle
Applications: Dairy, beer, food, beverage, pharmacy, and biotechnology, etc..
Pneumatic Actuator: Normally closed, normally open, open and closed by two air flues separately
Electric Actuator: On-off indicator light, passive contact signal, intelligent control, potentiometer (1K, 5K)
Sanitary ball valves are opened by turning handles attached to balls inside the valves. The ball has a hole or port through the middle. When the port is in line with both ends of the valve, flow will occur. When the valve is closed, the hole is perpendicular to the ends of the valve, and flow is blocked. A ball valve is durable and usually work to achieve perfect shutoff even after years of disuse. They are therefore an excellent choice for shutoff applications, and are often preferred to globe valves and gate valves for this purpose. Ball valves are used extensively in industry because they are very versatile, easy to repair, and operate manually or by actuators.
